Product Design

Mechanical Design

Synergy Technology specializes in the design of mechanical elements, including electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical components. We design components from plastic, metal and other materials for injection molding, machining, stamping, thermal forming, metal forming, powdered metal, sand casting, die casting, and other manufacturing processes. Electronic Design

Synergy Technology designs complete electronics packages from simple controllers with mixed technologies to complex microprocessor based systems.  Our wide range of application experience includes micro-controllers, power supplies, motor controllers, laser controllers and drivers, antenna design, digital and analog data acquisition, FPGA and CPLD design, remote and proximity sensing, and RF design. Solid Modeling

Using Pro/Engineer and SolidWorks for advanced feature based solid modeling, Synergy Technology is able to provide our clients with fully associative feature based 3D parametric designs. Your parts can be viewed as shaded color renderings, greatly improving visualization. Models can be used directly for rapid prototyping to speed the development cycle. Additionally, finite element analysis may be performed directly on these models. [more]

Finite Element Analysis

Synergy Technology uses finite element analysis (FEA) to predict performance, evaluate stress and deformation, find temperature, pressure and velocity distributions, and determine possible failure modes for our client's static, dynamic and non-linear, structural, thermal and fluid problems. Detecting limitations of a design prior to component fabrication can reduce development costs. Synergy Technology also uses FEA to investigate ways of correcting performance problems of existing components found to be inadequate. [more]

PCB Design

Synergy Technology designs each PC board for the unique electrical, mechanical and thermal criteria of each electronic package.  We develop cost effective products by considering PC board and wiring constraints, the integrity and cosmetic appearance of the enclosure, and selection of the components, materials and processes to provide for a cost effective product.
